INGREDIENTS
5 cups fresh peeled apricots 3/4 cup butter 1 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1 cup flour 1 cup rolled oats 3/4 cup chopped almonds 1 tsp cinnamon |

DIRECTIONS |
|
Melt 1/4 cup butter in a 9 X 12 glass baking pan. Stir in 1/2 cup brown sugar and mix well. Spread apricots evenly over butter and brown sugar mixture then set aside. Stir together remaining dry ingredients. Cut in butter evenly. Spread over apricot mixture evenly. Bake at 350 degrees, for 30 minutes, or until top is brown and fruit bubbles.
Notes: You can substitute well drained canned apricots for fresh apricots. You can also use peaches.
